Hi Jennifer,
I just wanted to say thanks you for the beautiful wedding reception
that you put on for Sheldon and I. It turned out a wonderful as I could have hoped for. Your restaurant is beautiful and everyone of our guests could not stop saying how nice it was. Please let your husband know that we really enjoyed his music during supper and the fire-limbo dance was great fun for everyone. The food was wonderful also.
Thanks for giving a an evening to remember.
It was a pleasure working with you.

Hello Jennifer,
I am back in the office for the first time today. I just got back yesterday from the honeymoon which was great. But I must first comment on the high quality of service that we received from DayO. You employees,
your facility and every aspect of my wedding reception was nothing
that I had imagined Dayo would pull off in such fine style.
Everything was flawless ! I received nothing but comments of satisfaction with the taste of the food, the service, the decorations
and the overalll layoout of the place. Jennifer you and your husband
and staff made my wedding what I dreamed it would be. Thank you to all. Please extend my gratitude to your staff as well and especially to
the gentleman who served the head table. I really , truly feel like doing it all over again, just to have another reception at DayO. But we will hold that thought for our fifth wedding anniversary.
Thanks again and God Bless !

Hi Jennifer and Paul,
Sorry it took so long for me to touch base with you again, but we have been so busy since we got back from Jamaica! If you didn't already know, Ben is in the military and we are being transferred overseas.
We are moving to Misawa, Japan August 13th! So before we get even more busy, I just wanted to take some time out to say to the both of you, "THANK YOU!"
We greatly appreciate everything that you have done for us. From transportation, decor, and helping with the favors, everthing was great! The best was the delicious food!!! You both are good people and I couldn't have picked a better place to have my reception. When we go back to Jamaica, we are definitely coming to visit you again. Your plantation is absolutely beautiful! Our guests couldn't stop talking about the plantation and the authentic jamaican food. Please stay in touch with us and let us know how everything is going. I have enclosed pictures (will be sent in different emails since file is too large) from the reception and feel free to use them on your website. YAH MON!
Sincerely,
Melaine & Ben Fannin |

Montego Bay Magic -
After Nature's wrath...perfection
Bride: Shana Michelle Dixon. Groom: Cabot A.C. Parker
The decision to have a destination wedding was a huge compromise for both my husband and me. We finally agreed to have our wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica, because neither of us had ever visited the island of Jamaica. I was able to locate the Day O Plantation Restaurant and Bar, which is owned and operated by Mrs. Jennifer Hurlock and just a short drive from the city of Montego Bay.
She organized everything, including transportation for guests, a huge local Jamaican buffet, a very delicious wedding cake and minature bottles of Jamaican rum for our wedding favors. Mrs. Hurlock also arranged for our live entertainment to include a soloist (Ms. Pauline Clark), a one man band (her husband, Mr Paul Hurlock), and a Caribbean showcase featuring a steelpan drummer (Mr Cabot Paul), limbo and firedancers. Her service was impecable. The most stressful moment occurred three day before the wedding. a huge thunderstorm hit and left our hotel without power outage.
We were forced to evacuate the hotel, and had to inform our guests. But my most memorable moment was the Caribbean showcase performance, which turned out to be the highlight of my wedding. Overal, my destination wedding was perfect because we enoyed both the wedding and Jamaica.
Our wedding also inspired a lot of close friends and family members to enjoy Montego Bay. |
